Lattice braced, 2013. NOW SOLD
This stunning instrument represents Patrick's best lattice work to date. The top is fine grained Western Red Cedar. The African pear wood of the bridge is laminated with carbon fibre and maple to make a rigid but light box-bridge which enhances the brilliant singing quality of the trebles right up to the 20th fret. The harmonics have impeccable focus and definition. The basses are throaty and powerful. There is matching maple inlay in the back and head. The sides are nicely figured walnut and the back is matching walnut laminated with carbon fibre, the inside lamination being spruce. The arm rest is made of heartwood of ebony. Price available on request.
Lattice braced, 2014.
This is a concert guitar par excellence with a characteristically highly focused sound. It has the features of the instrument described above, but less degree of decoration in the body, and the box-bridge is standard (not laminated with carbon fibre). The laminated Indian rosewood/carbon fibre back has an interior cedar lamination; the sides are Indian rosewood. This guitar has high volume with clear definition in the sound, bright trebles, strong basses and easy action. In addition to the normal guitar repertoire, the clarity in chordal playing is particularly suitable for Bach and other Baroque composers. The arm rest is made of heartwood of ebony. Price available on request.
Madrid Series, 2010.
Very playable, easy neck action, sweet cedar top sound. Top quality Gotoh machine heads. Patrick Burke chain motif rosette. A very good example of a traditional cedar guitar (with ebony reinforced neck). Has been used by Patrick because he enjoyed practising on it, but it is in brand-new condition.Price available on request.
"Fleta" 2013, Guitar No. 100.

Indian Rosewood back and sides, Honduras mahogany neck, cedar top, Schaller/Hauser style tuning pegs. Price available on request.
Flamenco guitar, 2013.
Cyprus and spruce, Torres strutting (7 fan struts), golpeadores, Brazilian rosewood veneer on head, Honduras mahogany neck, rosewood bindings, Indian rosewood bridge, traditional rosette. This is a very good medium-priced guitar for a serious student. Lovely set up, good volume, nice clean treble. Semi-rigid case with back-strap, perfect for student. Price available on request.
